Shawn Craddock is a seasoned healthcare executive with 25 years of progressive leadership experience both military and civilian. With expertise in administration, business operations, data analysis, and strategic planning, he has a proven track record of meeting budgets, building efficiencies, and optimizing operations. A recipient of multiple excellence and improvement awards, he has designed and operationalized both outpatient centers and hospitals.
Mr. Craddock has also held the positions of clinical specialist consultant, clinical practice specialist, OR charge nurse, OR staff nurse/orthopedic head nurse, and medical/surgical/pediatric head nurse.
He earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA; a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ; and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Radford University, Radford, VA. He holds an RN license in Virginia.
Mr. Craddock has achieved Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt status and holds the Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) and Nurse Executive Board Certified (NE-BC) credentials. In addition, he is a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL, formerly AONE), the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), and the Virginia Organization for Nurse Leaders (VONEL). He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and has served as a BLS instructor.
